Every year when Easter rolls around I get super excited to dye eggs. Sometimes though you want to be able to put your decorated eggs around your house without having a color explosion everywhere you look. So I’ve taken the liberty of rounding up some ideas that will produce centerpiece worthy Easter eggs. Get you glitter and glue ladies. Time to impress the Easter bunny.

- Hot glue small fake pearls all over. You can find fake pearls in almost every color so you can do either solid colors or come up with a pattern that you like.

- Paint your egg with glue and roll around in craft glitter. The key to this is either sticking to one color or going with two or three complementing shades. You want to use a uniform color scheme.

- Dye eggs the color of your preference and glue a small, girlie bow on the top.

- Cover your eggs in a thin fabric like lace and hold in place with a rubber band. Dip them in dye and you will have a sweet print.

- Once your eggs are colored write inspirational words of your choice on them in a thick tipped gold or silver pen.

- Apply silver or gold leaf all over eggs

- Mimic Robin eggs and dye them robin egg blue and add small brown specks. Extra points if you display them in a large nest with decorative feathers.

- Stencil your family members initials in colors that accent your home decor.

- Glue thin pieces of ribbon around eggs to mimic stripes.

- Cover eggs in glue and roll in sprinkles of your color choice for a super cute effect.

Of course you can take any of these ideas and throw your own spin on them. Get creative with it. And when your done display your results around your home in decorative vases, on plates and as centerpieces. Good luck and happy coloring!
