Some days I really don’t feel like working out (actually, some months I don’t feel like working out) but with this quick circuit you can literally bang it out during commercials. It just takes five minutes of your time and you can do it anywhere, even on your lunch break. Try it out!

1st Minute- Standing Alternating Lunges

Stand with your legs together. Lunge forward with one leg and then return to your original standing position. Alternate legs.

2nd Minute- Sumo Squats

Stand with your legs slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Keep your feet pointed towards 10 and 2 o’clock. Keep your chest open. Lower your booty down towards the floor and when your legs reach a 90 degree angle, slowly rise back up.

3rd Minute- Standing Abdominal Crunches

Stand with your hands behind your head while keeping your stomach muscles tight. Simulate on the floor crunches by bringing your right knee to meet your left elbow. Alternate sides.

4th Minute- Push-Ups

Try starting at first with your knees off of the ground. If you end up getting tired before your minute is up, drop your knees to the floor to finish.

5th Minute- Elbow Plank

Lie with your stomach on the floor. Lift yourself up, supporting your weight on your elbows and toes with your elbows shoulder width apart. Keep your back straight and hold until your minute is up. Be sure to keep your stomach muscles tight the whole time.

These exercises are all made to use your own weight, so you don’t need to worry about equipment. Try it out the next time some commercials come on during your Criminal Minds marathon. Plus, you can do it more than once. If you want to do it during six commercial breaks, you got a half an hour total body workout in all while not even paying attention to it. Happy squatting!
