Sometimes I want to wear a vintage t-shirt. Only a vintage t-shirt will do. They feel better, they look better, they all around just make me happy down to my soul. However, half of the shirts I love don’t come in a vintage version. You can get them new or not at all. So I learned a little trick on how to turn the newest t-shirt into a worn feeling gem. I repeat the process a couple of times because I find that only doing the process once just doesn’t cut it for me. I want mine to look like it came off of a Lynyrd Skynyrd roadie. But different strokes for different folks, right? So go through the steps once and see how you feel. You can always repeat it if it doesn’t have the feel you want to achieve.

Vintage Tee Recipe

4 cups of hot water
1/2 cup of sea salt

Soak your t-shirt in the salt water for about three days. Then throw in the washing machine and wash and dry as usual.

I can almost hear you singing the lyrics to Sweet Home Alabama already.
