So today I was doing my own thing when I unexpectedly had my eyes blown out of my head. Not from some kind of tragic accident. It all stemmed from Kate Moss’s new spring line for Topshop. Holy hell did this woman just exceed my expectations, and considering she’s a fashion goddess they were already sky high. The nearly 50 piece collection is based on and inspired by her own wardrobe and her favorite secondhand pieces. Yeah, so basically it’s a fashion gold mine.
All of the pieces range from festival worthy fringed jackets to lace maxi dresses that are a mix of boho chic that only Moss can accomplish. I won’t even get into the beaded, swingy dress and bolero jacket. It’s actually too much beauty for me to take in. The beaded tunics and caftans are perfection. Kate Moss perfection, actually.
Is there anything this beauty and fashion icon can’t do? I would love to see what she would come up with for a line that’s pure, balls out glamour. She’s never one to shy away from fur, beading, or gold in her personal style so I assume it would be absolutely incredible. However, for Topshop, this collaboration is bang on. She managed to embody her style and turn it into something that the masses can easily wear for themselves. I don’t look like Kate but its nice to know I could easily throw an an item that screams her style.
The line will be released this month, and seeings how well her last line with them three years ago went over I’m assuming will sell out like hot cakes. So elbows out ladies. You’ve got some shopping to do.
