Well hello lovely people! I hope that you missed me as much as I have missed you! Welcome to the new and improved Good As Gold. There are some tweaks that still have to be made (like changing the head logo to gold), but besides a few small changes, this is the new vibe. Roam around the site and see what you think. Feedback is always appreciated. You’ll notice that there are a few small additions to the menu. One, an inspiration mood board. This is where I’ll post what I’m digging lately or what I’m trying to incorporate into my personal or home style. You’ll also see that I have an area where you can send me any questions you have so I can do my best to help you figure it out. Even if you want to screen shot two necklaces to ask which would look better with your outfit, then do it. That’s what I’m here for. I would also like to use it as a forum where you can tell me anything about the site that you don’t like or what you would like to read about. After this stage of the game, being online for three years, I would really like to cater more to you guys. You’ve been here for the long haul, so anything you would like to read about or get clarification on, then just let me know.

If you’re wondering why the changes, there are a couple of reasons why I wanted Good As Gold to get a bit of a facelift. Well, for one, it’s now more synced with your phone for a smoother viewing experience. Also, I feel as though the site and myself have grown so much that I just wanted to simplify. Less background patterns and more aesthetically pleasing content. I found that sometimes the font was hard for me to read, so I wanted to change that as well. Kind of like you’re looking at an online magazine where everything is classic yet clean. I hope that you enjoy these small tweaks as much as I do.

Also, if you’ve noticed that there are more pictures of me, it’s not because I think that I’m the best. It’s just so that people that don’t know me can put a face to the writing. It’s always been hard for me to wrap my head around that people that I don’t know read this. With some pictures I’m hoping that they can kind of get more of a feel for who I am. Hence why now at the bottom of my opening page you can scroll through some of my Instagram photos or, if you wish, get taken straight to my Instagram. Anyhow, go take a look around and let me know what you think. Like I had said earlier, there may be a few tweaks over the course of the next couple of weeks, but either way I hope that you like the new vibe. New look, same old girl.
