It’s that time of the year where your nights are filled with fun, bonfires and outdoor cooking. As wonderful as barbecuing is, it’s not the most child friendly cooking activity. That’s where s’mores come into play. What kid doesn’t like to make their own chocolaty s’more treat? What grown up doesn’t enjoy it either? So here are some fun and different s’more recipes that you can do with your friends and family. Enjoy!

Frozen Banana S’mores
I was going to make a banana stand joke here, but maybe you all aren’t as caught up on the Bluth family business as I am lol. Anyhow, here is a perfect frozen banana treat. Skewer bananas on any kind of wooden skewer you have. Shish-kabob skewers work well. Freeze bananas then dip in melted chocolate and roll in crumbled graham crackers. Pipe on some marshmallow fluff and return to the freezer until they are frozen solid.
S’more Popcorn
Spread caramel corn on wax paper on two large cookie sheets. Top it with mini marshmallows and golden graham cereal. Drizzle with chocolate and let the chocolate set. Then mix it all up and eat!
All of these recipes are delicious AND will be fun for the whole family. Plus, while they are busy rolling bananas and such around in graham crackers, you can sneak in a glass of wine. Everyone comes out a winner. Let me know if you have any other s’more recipes that you want to share!
