I see beautiful nails all the time. Some people have an incredible knack to do meticulous, small details. I do not. My left hand is so useless I might as well be trying to paint my right hands nails using a fish. It’s terrible. So when I came across this easy way of making your nails look incredible, I had to share. Ladies I suggest you all try this at least once. It’s so simple and the outcome is fabulous.
Turquoise And Gold Gemstone Nails
What You Need
1. Mint Green or Turquoise nail polish.
2. Gold nail polish.
3. Black nail polish.
4. A balled up piece of plastic wrap.
5. A bowl of room temperature water.
6. Nail polish remover.
7. Hairspray or perfume.
8. Q-tips.
9. Top coat.
Directions
1. Paint your nails with two coats of a light mint green or turquoise color.
2. Paint some gold nail polish onto the ends of a balled up piece of plastic wrap and dab it onto your nail.
3. Put a drop of black nail polish into a bowl with room temperature water.
4. Spritz the water with hairspray or perfume to make the black polish spread out more across the water. Do this as many times as you need to until it has the effect you want.
5. Place your nail on the polish in the water to create the marbled accent.
6. Let your nails dry and remove any polish left in the bowl with a q-tip.
7. Clean up around your nail with a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover.
8. Add a topcoat and voila!
And just like that you have nails that look like turquoise gemstones. If you really want a bit of southwestern flavor, do the same process with a coral nail polish to create coral gemstone nails. Or try a coral gemstone accent nail with your turquoise nails. This ones a must try ladies. Have fun!
Love this idea!!
Thanks love! If you try it let me know how it goes! Xoxox
Wow, these are SO gorgeous!! I love the 2 toned base, it gives just a little extra dimension making them look more like real stone.
Thank you! I’m very right handed so when it comes to using my left I can’t seem to make anything work. I was happy to find something to do to my nails that doesn’t incorporate straight lines or super fine details lol. This one I can actually do!
Woo beautiful, really liking it and definitely gonna try this 🙂
Awesome! Let me know how it goes! Xoxo
