It’s almost that time of the year! Halloween time. I love everything about Halloween, but I don’t love the cost of everything. Sometimes I don’t want to spend a million dollars on our costumes, especially when I have to put so much work into them. If you’re like me and like to use eighty gallons of blood on each costume, then why not cut the cost a bit and try to make your own fake blood. Either way, if you use store bought fake blood it’s going to be wet and sticky, so don’t let that deter you. I wouldn’t dump this all over your clothes the night of, however, I would dump it on the costume a couple of days before so that it can dry. Then the night of, apply to face wounds etc. Either that or use store bought blood for your costume and just keep this for your skin. It’s great for kids costumes too because if it gets in their mouths it’s sweet. Plus, all the bees and wasps are gone by then so they don’t have to run for their lives when they’re smelling like a chocolate pops.
