I have recently talked about dry skin on the body, and now let’s get into dry lips. They’re on your face, dude. One of the first thing people pay attention to is your lips, so if one ( or both) is falling off, it can leave an impression. A gross one. So, in the spirit of scrubs, here are some for your lips.
Brown Sugar
4 Tsp brown sugar
3 Tsp virgin coconut oil
3 Tsp honey
2 drops peppermint essential oil
2 drops orange essential oil
Coconut Lime
1 Tbsp virgin coconut oil
1 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Tbsp lukewarm water
3-4 drops lime essential oil
Bubble Gum
4 Tsp sugar
3 Tsp virgin coconut oil
2 drops passion essential oil
Rose
4 Tsp sugar
3 Tsp virgin coconut oil
2 drops rose essential oil
Mint
4 Tsp sugar
3 Tsp virgin coconut oil
2 drops spearmint essential oil
Grapefruit
4 Tsp sugar
3 Tsp virgin coconut oil
1 drop grapefruit essential oil
When I do a lip scrub, I rest a warm cloth on my mouth for five minutes to loosen the dead skin. Then I take some scrub and lightly rub it in my lips for a couple of minutes. Lastly, I rub the cloth over my lips to really get all the dead skin off. Rinse your cloth out and remove any scrub that’s still on your lips. It’s that easy. Between the body scrubs and lip scrubs, you should sign up for swimming because you’ll shave at least three seconds off your best time due to all your dead skin being gone lol. Happy scrubbing.
