Gummy Bear Fun

Kids get everything these days. Any kind of treat I hide for myself in my house my son finds and eats. Well, it’s time to take back the snacks! And by this I mean add booze to them so that they can’t touch them. Take that kids! Here are three alcoholic gummy bear recipes just for us.

Champagne Gummy Bears

What You’ll Need

1/2 Cup Gummy Bears
3/4 Cup Champagne or Sparkling Wine

What You Do

1. Put your gummies in a bowl.

2. Pour champagne over until they are all covered.

3. Leave out to soak for at least 10 hours.

4. If you want, you can place them in the fridge to soak more after the 10 hours for another 10 to 20 hours.

5. Eat your booze bears and enjoy.

Gummy Bear Sangria

What You’ll Need

1 1/2 Cups Gummy Bears
1 1/2 Cups Vodka
1 Bottle White Wine
1 Cup Apple Juice
1 Cup Fizzy Water
2 Large Apples, Sliced
1 Lime Sliced

What You Do

1. Put your gummy bears in a container and cover them with vodka. Cover the container and place in the fridge overnight.

2. Strain the vodka from your gummy bears. Don’t be hasty and throw the vodka out. No, no. Keep that good stuff. Then you can fire it into your sangria for an even bigger wow factor. You’re welcome.

3. In a large pitcher, combine your gummy bears, apple juice, wine, fizzy water, apples and limes. Stir. If you’re adding your gummy bear vodka, you might want to add some ice to be safe.

4. Drink, dance, and have a good time.

Drunk Gummy Popsicles

What You’ll Need

1 1/4 Cup Vodka
1 1/4 Cup Gummy Bears
3 Cups Sprite or Ginger Ale
Wooden Popsicle Sticks
Popsicle Molds

What You Do

1. Place gummies in container and soak in vodka. Place lid on container and let them sit for up to 72 hours (because the longer you soak them, the boozier they’ll be).

2. Stir gummies and strain about 1/3 of them out of the vodka. Place the strained gummies in the bottom of roughly 10 Popsicle molds.

3. Pour Sprite over the gummy bears until they are just covered. About 1/3 full.

4. Freeze for 60-90 minutes.

5. Once frozen, add the Popsicle sticks and a second layer of strained vodka gummies then soda again.

6. Freeze again and repeat a third time.

7. Eat Popsicle and preferably wave it around like you’re having a night out at Mardis Gras.

And just like that you’ll get to have a special treat just for you. No kids allowed. Now if only I could figure out a way to make boozie chips and dip……
