One of the worst parts about winter is when you wake up one morning and surprise!….everyone in the house has some form of scurvy. Great. And you know if the kids or your man gets it, you’re the first one that shit is being passed off to. In my home, my son gets sick and instantly gets better the second he gives it to me. So not only am I praying for death, but I’m trying to keep up with a child that has a new and refreshed take on life. When I didn’t have a child, I would throw back some Neocitran and wake up the next morning feeling better. That doesn’t get to happen anymore. I need to be ready to stop a child from making a 2 am toy closet run if I have to. So if you’re like me, then try these juice recipes that you can make at home. They are filled with vitamins that will help to get you back on your feet. More importantly, they can keep you from getting sick all together. Just throw all of the ingredients in a juicer and you’re on your way to a healthier winter.
