My dogs love some treats (especially the tubby one), but it freaks me out buying them because you just don’t know what’s in them these days. You always hear about dogs getting super sick after having different brands of treats. So why not take matters into your own hands and make some yourself. These are easy and you just have to pop them in the fridge. Get ready for some wagging tails (or wiggling nub in Miss Ellie’s case).

Ingredients

1 cup of pumpkin purée (this is NOT pie filling)
1/2 cup peanut butter with NO xylitol in it
2 1/2 cups old fashioned or quick oats

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
2. Take small amounts and roll them into balls. Size them according to your dogs size.
3. Place in fridge on a pan lined with wax paper for about an hour.
4. When chilled, place in a covered container in the fridge for storage and use up within a week.

That’s all there is to it. Now you can be stocked up with healthy treats that your fur babies will absolutely love.
