I’ve really been listening to what the universe has to tell me. It gives me a huge sense of relief knowing what’s meant for me will find it’s way to me no matter what. No matter what amount of fight I put up, if it’s not for me, it’s not coming. There’s something so calming and simplifying to that. I’m an anxiety filled fighter. I will struggle and force that square peg into the round hole. Only for it to pop out in the end anyway because it wasn’t meant to be there.
I’ve started to take the time to listen to my surroundings. Taking the time to have some inner monologue with myself and the universe. Actually paying attention. Asking what I need to learn from situations. I’ve found it’s made me less impulsive. I don’t buy things that I don’t need because I know it’s a momentary want. I don’t overreact to situations I can’t control. I’m not responsible for anyone else’s decisions. I’m responsible for how I react to them. Simple, right!? I no longer feel the need to make someone see how good my heart is. If you don’t get it, you just don’t. Basically, I’m more secure in myself than I have ever been. Alone, or otherwise.
Anyhow, where I’m going with this is one of the things that I did for myself was made a protection jar for my purse and for my home. Now, before you’re like “she’s a witch!”, hear me out. It makes me feel good in a moment of panic or when I start to lose myself. It feels good to hold onto. It reminds me who the fuck I am and that the universe has my back. It’s a very nice feeling. So, I made some for other people so they could have that same reassurance. There is a method to this. I’m not just a crazy person filling up jars lol. There is a certain way to do this kind of thing and everything has a purpose. I’m going to list a few of the ingredients and their purpose so that you get it.
Himalayan Sea Salt- provides grounding and protection.
Cloves- good luck, prosperity, protection, clarity, stops gossip.
Bay Leaves- protection, healing.
Seashells- travel protection, prosperity.
Now, that’s not every ingredient, but you get the drift. Kind of cool, hey? So I made some for your purse, some that are larger for the home (you can keep the ingredients in the bottle or dump them out into a cute little bowl). I even made some that you can wear around your neck. I love mine and I hope if you come across one and pick one up along your travels, that you love yours too. A little extra protection can never hurt.
